KOW glass as standard!

K Glass (low e) allows heat from the sun into the room, but stops it leaving by reflecting the heat back in. OW or Optiwhite provide a very clear pane type and also greatly improves the Solar gain from the sun! Double glazed units are as effective as a triple glazed unit. Double glazed units cut Fuel Bills. Double glazed units reduce condensation. Double glazed units allow for larger glazed areas without increasing heat loss.

Warm Edge Technology as standard!

Weatherglaze were first in Ireland to manufacture and supply TPS (warm edge) Glazed units as standard. What is TPS ( Warm Edge Technology)? Thermo Plastic Spacer is a revolutionary new material that replaces the traditional metal spacer bar within the glass unit. This greatly improves the insulating value of the unit. •Significanly improves U value. •Reduces condensation. The illustration on the left shows the difference between TPS and Metal Spacer. As you can see the unit on the bottom is metal and provides a cold edge in which heat can be lost. This is not the case with the TPS.

Argon Gas filling

Argon Gas as standard!
Argon reduces heat loss in doubleglazed sealed units by slowing down the transfer of heat through the glass unit.
